    Description

    Wardine Meroney and Joe Kemp have been selected as the principal characters in a safety skit to be presented at the Paschal High School Auditorium. Wardine is playing "Mary Beware" while Joe is "Johnny Be-Careful". The play is in connection with the Tarrant County safety rally sponsored by the Citizens Safety Commission. Wardine is wearing a dress with a bow on the front. Joe is dressed in a suit. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, April 17, 1940.
