Dorothy Dean Wilson, 21, left, is Fort Worth, Texas's, first United States Coast Guard SPAR (Women's Reserve). She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Wilson. Miss Wilson is standing next to an unidentified man who is pointing to a SPARS promotional poster that features a woman in a military uniform and reads, "Semper Paratus - Always Ready."
