Mrs. John L. Yeargan and her elephant collection. Mrs. Yeargan is shown knelt down in front of a shelf that is filled with her collection of small elephants. She appears to be adjusting one of the pieces while she has another one in her other hand. She is wearing a dark, short-sleeve dress and a pair of eyeglasses. In two of the three shelves of elephants, there are two small wooden boxes placed in the center of each shelf. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 8, 1945.
