    Description

    New residents. Mrs. J. C. Chestnut and her daughter, Mary Jo. Mrs. Chestnut is shown sitting in an armchair with her daughter hugging her from the side. Mary Jo is sitting the on the chair's armrest and both her and he mother are smiling at the camera. Mrs. Chestnut is wearing a knit top with a thick skirt and Mary Jo is wearing a striped, knotted jacket with a skirt, as well. Behind them is a window with curtains. Mr. Chestnut received a promotion from an agent in Odessa, Texas to train dispatcher here for the Texas and Pacific Railroad. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition January 4, 1943.
