W. H. Aldrich is an aviation machinist's mate third class in the United States Navy. He is home in Fort Worth, Texas, on a furlough for the first time in two years. He is spending the time off with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Aldrich. W. H. Aldrich has been stationed in Hawaii and was there during the Pearl Harbor attack. He is shown standing against a wall, dressed in his military uniform.
