    Description

Robert A. Thomas is a 26-year-old sailor with the United States Navy. He is spending a two-week furlough in Fort Worth, Texas, with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Thomas. Thomas suffered minor injuries when his ship was in a battle with the Japanese. During the attack, Thomas worked with a party of firefighters to extinguish flames aboard the cruiser.
