Mrs. W. M. Holcomb is celebrating her 100th birthday on January 2, 1943. She was born and raised in Arkansas. She married Mr. Holcomb when she was 18 years old. After the Civil War, the couple moved to Texas and settled near Ladonia, Texas. Mrs. Holcomb has four children. She lives with her daughter, Mrs. J. C. Payne, in Fort Worth, Texas. Mrs. Holcomb is shown sitting in a chair, wearing a dress and a crochet shawl and eyeglasses.
