Mrs. L. S. Loomis stopping by a phone booth at the Bowen Bus Station to place a long distance call to her husband. She is the wife of an American pilot in the Royal Air Force. Her husband, Lyman Steven Loomis, is stationed at Brady, Texas. Mrs. Loomis is the former Baroness Margaret Kostukevitch-Kooens. She was born in Russia and was working with the Red Cross in Belgium. She evacuated to England where she met and married her husband. Mrs. Loomis has been living in America for the past four months. She plans to spend Christmas in Brady, Texas, with Mr. Loomis. She is wearing a sweater and a skirt.
