    Soil conservation enthusiasts from Cooke County, Texas, who were in Fort Worth, Texas, for a conference with C. V. Marshall (not pictured), of Temple, Texas, director of the State Soil Conservation Board. The conference attendees were, left to right, Howard Springer, of Gainesville, Texas, W. S. Whaley, of Fort Worth, Texas, J. M. Weinzapfel, of Muenster, Texas, A. S. Brient, Cooke County agricultural agent, Cliff McMahon, secretary of the Gainesville Chamber of Commerce, and J. B. Klement, of Muenster, Texas. The men are standing in front of a blank wall, all wearing suits.
