Description
A little black and white puppy stowed away inside a laundry bag that was sent to the cleaners on December 17, 1942. The puppy belongs to Mrs. W. C. Cowan. He crawled into a bundle of clothing left on the porch of the Cowan home. Driver Ralph Miller picked up the bag and delivered it to the Fort Worth Laundry. Mrs. Mattie Gambrell, wife of the manager, found the puppy. She took the pup in until the owners came for him. The puppy is shown sitting on the bundle of clothing, on a table. An unidentified woman is standing in the background.
