Description
Clarence Redmon is a sailor in the United States Navy. He is a coxswain on the United States Ship Boise and was involved in the Battle of Solomon. He is on leave in Fort Worth, Texas, while the ship is being repaired in the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Mr. Redmon was one of only eight survivors of a crew manning a gun target. He enlisted in the Navy in November of 1940. He is shown standing against a wall, dressed in his military uniform.
