Mr. and Mrs. M. H. V. Yates, celebrating their 59th Wedding anniversary. Mrs. Yates is shown sitting in an arm-chair while Mr. Yates sits beside her on the arm of the chair. Both are smiling at the camera with Mr. Yates wrapping his arm around his wife's shoulders. Mrs. Yates is wearing a long, buttoned dress with a beaded necklaces and Mr. Yates is wearing a dark suit. The couple married in 1883 and have a daughter, Mrs. O. C. Whitaker, together. Behind them is a wall with a framed picture hanging on it.
