Description

The 1943 Golden Gloves District Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Ten aggressive fighters will be carrying the colors for Texas Wesleyan College in the district tournament. Pictured in their fighting stances, left to right, on the back row, are Dick Nichols, James Cooper, Jerry Railey, George Race, and Clarence Booth. On the front row are Kenneth Womack, Jimmy Morris, Pete Pegues, and Ralph Wren. At the extreme left is student instructor Jack Osteen.
