Description
Private Frank O. Rhodes of Tarrant Field, Texas, being welcomed to home-coming at North Side High School by Ernest Sellers, principal. Mr. Sellers is giving Private Rhodes a handshake as he greets him with a smile. Private Rhodes is wearing a military uniform while Mr. Sellers wears a dark, double-breasted suit. In addition, there is a small ribbon that says "Beat Paschal" pinned onto Mr. Sellers's suit. Private Rhodes is one of many students who went to serve in the armed forces. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition November 26, 1942.
