Mrs. K. C. Bowman holds her two month old son, Kirby Pease, while her sister, Mrs. George Stain of Odessa, Texas, looks on admiringly. Mrs. Bowman is wearing a dark, short-sleeve dress while her sister is wearing a short-sleeve, leaf-patterned dress. Mrs. Bowman cradles her baby with both hands as Mrs. Stain holds the back of the baby. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition November 26, 1942.
