Description

Boys from Hockley County, Texas, who visited the Livestock Exchange Building in Fort Worth, Texas, shown watching F. R. Sawyer, assistant livestock marketing specialist, as he broadcast market reports over station KGKO. The boys are, left to right, Ralph Harbin, Ralph Gerik, Leland Gwin, John Silhan, Gorman Walden, Bennie Silhan, James Stroope and Howard Wood. This group placed first in the third annual junior livestock show held at Levelland, Texas. They are crowded around Mr. Sawyer, who is sitting at a desk with a radio microphone in front of him.
