Description
Lieutenant William M. Rowe is a 24-year-old pilot in the Army Air Forces. He spent 18 months overseas in the Pacific Theater. He was stationed in Bataan, Philippines, up until the last few days of the battle. Lieutenant Rowe and several other pilots escaped the ordeal and flew to Australia. Lieutenant Rowe is back in the States to train other fighters. He is standing against a wall, dressed in his military uniform.
