Mrs. Fannie Pitzer Gordon and son, David Gordon. Mrs. Gordon is shown playing a piano while her son stands next to her and plays the violin. David is wearing a dark suit and a pair of eyeglasses, while his mother is wearing a long-sleeve dress with lace detailing and a small, dark cap. Both appear involved in their instrument. Behind them and on the adjacent wall are two windows. David is a pupil of Mrs. Brooks Morris and Mrs. Gordon is a soloist at the Second Church of Christ.
