One of the youngest participants in Women at War Week will be Mary Joan Hughes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Olin E. Hughes, 1607 Boulevard. She opened her penny bank and bought a war bond in observance of her seventh birthday next Wednesday. She is seen holding war bonds and a handkerchief, wearing a a military coat and hat.
