    Description

Fort Worth Technical High School Service Flag is pictured here. The flag was presented to School Principal G. B. Trimble (right) by student body president Bill Potter (left). Principal Trimble is wearing a suit and tie and Bill is wearing a tie and a letter jacket. They are standing near the flag and looking at it. The flag is mounted on a piece of plywood and has 123-stars, representing former students in the armed service. Four of the stars are gold to honor Leroy Howard, Harold Burt, Bill Collier, and William Stafford, who lost their lives in the war. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 11, 1942.
