    Description

They worked, studied hard for these caps. It took studying and hark work to earn the caps these six Girl Scouts are wearing. They are left to right, William K. Fuhri, Madeline Walker, Betty Keen, Betty Lou Nicholson, Edna Istook, Charlotte Peterson, and Mary Sue Hill. Mrs. Fuhri is the Girl Scout commissioner who made the presentations. Mrs. C. C. Garrett, chairman of the Girl Scout Council, hosted the award ceremony at her home. The Girl Scouts are standing in a sunroom, dressed in their uniforms.
