Mrs. A. Albert Fox (left) and Mrs. Julius Gilbert who is holding her grand daughter, Janelle Fox. The trio is shown sitting together in a living room with Mrs. Gilbert sitting in an armchair, Mrs. Fox sitting on one of the chair's arms and small Janelle sitting on her grandmother's lap. Mrs. Fox and Gilbert smile widely at the camera and appear in good spirits. Both are wearing similar dresses, however Mrs. Gilbert's dress is darker. Janelle is wearing a small frilly dress. Next to the chair is a small foot stool and a few other furniture pieces, including a lamp and a table. Mrs. Fox's husband, Lieutenant Fox, is stationed in Alberquerque, New Mexico with the Army Dental Corps and will be joined by his wife and daughter soon. Mrs. Fox was formerly known as Miss Jessonda Gilbert.
