Description
Camp Wolters in Mineral Wells, Texas is holding a drive to collect scrap metal. Shown participating in the drive, left to right are Private Woodrow P. Fenley, Lieutenant Colonel A. W. Flemings, Major General Bruce Magruder and Brigadier General E. W. Opie. Private Fenley, of Lufkin, Texas, is reporting to his superior officers. General Magruder is the commander of the Infantry Replacement Center. The men are standing in front of a Jeep, dressed in military uniforms. A couple automobiles are parked on the street. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, October 30, 1942.
