At the 10th annual banquet of the Riverside Civic League, Boyce House, left, and Congressman Fritz Lanham, center, spoke before nearly 500 members of the organization. E. F. Crites, right, president of the league, is shown chatting with the pair at the speakers' stand. All three men are standing next to each other at the podium and are wearing suits. There are flowers in the foreground. Hanging on the back wall is a large Texas flag and there are other flags standing beside it.
