Baptist Convention. Mrs. R. L. Mathis. Mrs. Mathis is shown standing in front of an empty wall, smiling and holding her purse. She is wearing a dress that is dark with a lighter colored collar. There is also a small floral brooch at the middle of the collar. Pinned onto the dress is a small ribbon that reads. "Messenger". Mrs. Mathis is also wearing a hat adorned with a large bow.
