Description
W. F. Ray, warehouse foreman, checking load of food. Mr. Ray is shown looking down at a sign as he stands near a large stack of canned foods and sacks. They're all placed on a wooden, wheeled cart with an additional bag of pinto beans on the floor next to the cart. Mr. Ray is wearing a dark suit jacket, a hat and trouser. Behind him is another wooden cart with a small stack of canned foods and food packages. This food will be sent to the Grapevine Independent School. The warehouse is the old Pioneer Palace of Frontier Centennial days. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 2, 1942.
