Description

The ice skating rink at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum is opening early for the fall season. Testing out the ice, left to right, are Mary Louis Ballard and Bert Beebe. They are shown taking the first spill of the season. Miss Ballard is wearing a dark dress and ice skates. Mr. Beebe is a Technician 5th Grade with the 18th Machine Records Unit. He is a native of Glendale, Long Island, New York. He is dressed in a military uniform.
