    Shown at work at Sokol Hall, at a sewing machine given by Mrs. W. H. Bobb, are Mrs. Joseph Becan, seated, chairman of the Red Cross sewing group, and Mrs. A. Milan, standing, who handled the appeal for more sewing machines. On the sewing table is a pile of fabric for a sewing project. Both women are wearing dresses.
