    Two dozen roses, one for each year Reverend Matthew Arnold of Cleburne, Texas has addressed the Bible Department of the Woman's Club were presented to the minister at the year's opening meeting of the Department. Shown (left to right) are Reverend Matthew Arnold and Mrs. Arnold, Mrs. Floyd McChesney, a lifelong friend of the pastor and Mrs. James C. Wilson. one of the first chairs of the Department. Reverend Wilson is wearing a double breasted suit and necktie. The women are wearing hats and gloves. Mrs. McChesney and Mrs. Wilson have fur wraps. Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. McChesney are holding the roses. This photograph was published in the October 9, 1942 morning edition of the Star-Telegram.
