Calf roping contest at Midland. Burk makes a quick catch. Shown is Burk riding on a horse and capturing a calf that is running away. Burk has held the title of champion cattle roper for two years. His fastest time for capture was 15 seconds. Behind him, a fence with a crowd of people looking on can be seen.
