Description
Only ruins were left late Friday afternoon after flames leveled the J. L. Walker home in Mansfield, Texas. The smoldering foundation is shown next to a charred tree. At the right is a metal hoist that was used by a boarder, E. V. Perry, to get his wheelchair on the front porch. The fire also destroyed the Methodist Church. Cause was not determined.
