Description
Standing Committee chairmen of the Junior League of Fort Worth combine war efforts with social service and other projects. Shown are three women who represent different areas, left to right, Mrs. William Rigg, canteen service; Miss Elizabeth Ryan, Red Cross Motor Corps, and Mrs. W. K. Fuhri, Girl Scout commissioner. They are in their respective uniforms, walking together down the hallway. Rigg is holding a small clutch purse in her right hand. Ryan has a red cross pin on her lapel and garrison hat. Fuhri is wearing a necklace the Girl Scouts traditional membership pendent. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, September 20, 1942.
