    Description

    Platoon sergeants for the 60 future pilots training at Texas Christian University (T. C. U.) under the new Civilian Pilot Training program are, left to right, man at left not identified, Hugh Hokett, 1245 East Jessamine; F. S. Ratcliff, 2615 Cockrell, and H. A. Watson Junior of Dallas, Texas. The three civilians are standing in a semi-circle saluting the unidentified commanding officer. Mr. Hokett has a handgun conspicuously tucked in to the front of his pants. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, August 16, 1942.
