"Record for Our Fighting Men Campaign." Jean and Juanita Melton, holding old records. Two girls, each with a full hand, demonstrate the latest and liveliest of the scrap collection campaigns, "Records for Our Fighting Men," being conducted by the American Legion. When the scrap is salvaged, new records and new melodies will go out to army, navy and marine posts. The girls, urging you here to turn over your old phonograph records, are Misses Jean, bottom, and Juanita Melton, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Melton, Their dad is a Legionaire. Photograph showing two young women posed and smiling. Each young woman is holding and displaying several large phonograph records in their hands. Published July 23, 1942.
