Left to right: Miss Beverly Bird, Mrs. Benjamin L. Bird, Miss Nancy Tomlinson, Miss Charlotte Greene, and Miss Jean Bristol. The five women are shown standing behind a table with a large pile of materials gathered from tailor shops and department stores. Miss Bird and Miss Greene are both holding a piece of fabric while the others look into the pile and pick something out. Each of them are wearing different patterned dresses including, Miss Bird who is wearing a floral printed dress and Mrs. Bird who is wearing a striped dress. The group appear to be smiling and laughing with one another. They have collected more that 1250 pounds of material for government use.
