Description

Amateur Baseball is in full swing during the Fort Worth, Texas summers. Standing in front of a chain-link fence, left to right are Puss Erwin and Tex Carlton. Tex is a veteran, right-handed pitcher. His eight years in Major League Baseball were spent with the St. Louis Cardinals, the Chicago Cubs, and the Brooklyn Dodgers. At thirty-five, Tex is retired from professional ball. He is wearing a button-up short-sleeve shirt and trousers. Mr. Erwin is chatting with Tex and enjoying the old baseball stories. He is dressed in a baseball cap, button-up short-sleeve shirt, and trousers.
