Description

Brigadier General Walter F. Kraus, left, and Colonel A. K. Dodson are reviewing paperwork together in the new Flying Training Command headquarters. "Brigadier General Walter Kraus, chief of staff of the Flying Training Command, Army Air Forces, goes over the first day's work with Colonel A. K. Dodson, executive officer, upon arrival at the new headquarters in the Texas & Pacific (T & P) Building." General Kraus is sitting and holding paperwork, as Colonel Dodson is standing beside him, speaking with intense focus and looking at the paper. There are several items lying on General Kraus's desk, including two telephones, a bundle of letters, an ashtray, matches, Prince Albert in a can, a copy of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, and more. A picture of an aircraft is hanging on the wall behind them. Both of them are wearing their uniforms but without hats.
