Mrs. Tom Winfrey, right, is helping the war effort by purchasing bonds from Miss Juanita Peters. Mrs. Winfrey is purchasing her 12th bond in a year. She is wearing a patterned dress and is carrying a handbag. Miss Peters is standing behind the booth. She is wearing a polka-dot blouse. There is a sign above the booth that reads, "Buy United States Savings Bonds and Stamps Now," and another sign on the exterior of the booth that reads, "Wanted - Fighting Dollars / Make Every Pay-Day Bond-Day," and depicts a man holding up a bond certificate.
