Description
George W. Frederick, sitting in huge tire and holding a miniature tire, both to be contributed to the scrap rubber campaign being led by President Roosevelt. "Twenty of these huge tires, like the one "surrounding" George W. Frederick of the Ben Eastman Service Station, 4101 Camp Bowie Boulevard, were included in the 30,000-pound scrap rubber contribution of the L. J. Miles Construction Company. These large tires sold new at $602 each."
