"Nat Floyd, right, former Fort Worth newpaperman, is shown here with his mother Mrs. Virgie McGeehon, center, Denison, and sister, Mrs. Vivian Ryburn, Greensboro, N. C., upon their arrival here Thursday. Floyd will speak to the Rotary Club Friday on his concept of the war effort and his experiences as a newspaper correspondent in the Philippines". Mrs. Ryburn appears on the far left of the photograph wearing a v-neck dress with a dark and light pattern, a dark belt around her waist, and white sandals on. Her wedding ring is visible on the left ring finger, and she has a metal design attached to the base of her v-neck. She is staring to the left of the camera, is slightly smiling, has her hands folded in her lap, and is sitting on the right arm of the chair her mother is sitting in. Mrs. McGeehon is sitting in the center of the photograph. She is smiling and staring to the left of the camera. She is wearing a white and grey dress with a floral pattern. She is wearing glasses, has two similar necklaces around her neck, his her hands folded in her lap with her nails painted, and her hair pulled back. The chair that she is sitting in appears to have a crisscross pattern and dark arms. Mr. Floyd is sitting on the right side of the photograph. He is wearing a matching grey button up shirt with slacks, and dark shoes. His shirt has an open collar and pockets on each side of his chest. He is sitting on the left arm of the chair his mother is sitting on. His hair is parted to the left and he is staring at the camera without smiling. In his left hand is a lit cigarette. In the background is the corner of a room, and a floor lamp.
