Description
Gathered at the ticket booth for the Red Cross benefit baseball game at LaGrave Field, to take place June 27, 1942, were several Fort Worth Cats baseball players. Buying tickets are, left to right, Ed Greer, Claud Horton, Rogers Hornsby, Flea Clifton and Thurman Tucker. Miss Josephine Walker and Miss Phyllis O'Brien are standing behind the ticket booth screen, and Miss Virginia Farrell is standing outside of the ticket booth, between Hornsby and Clifton. All three women are wearing Red Cross Motor Corps uniforms. The booth has a sign that says "War Relief June 27."
