Jake Smith is a Yeoman in the U. S. Navy. He is shown laughing with a group of girls, who work at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Yeoman Smith, who was aboard the aircraft carrier Lexington, lost in the Coral Sea. He is returning to Fort Worth, Texas on leave. He is dressed in his military uniform.
