Description
"This presentation of the colors at Broadway Baptist Church was re-enacted in many pulpits over the city as churches observed Flag Day Sunday. More than 100 men from Camp Wolters were guests at Broadway. Here, left to right, are Scout Dick Callaway, Reverend W. Douglas Hudgins, pastor, and Scouts Rucker Barse and Bob Hale, who were the color guard." The three young men are standing toward the front of the stage wearing unidentified uniforms. Scouts Rucker Barse, in the middle of the young men, is holding the American Flag while the other two stand at attention. Reverend Hudgins is standing just behind the young men. To the right of the color guard, there appears to be a choir and tiered-table holding what appears to be pictures of soldiers. A piano is sitting in the foreground.
