    Description

"Making plans for the Texas visit of 14 war heroes next month are, left to right, Mayor I. N. McCrary, Frank Weatherford and R. J. O'Donnell. The heroes will be presented to the public at a rally at Arlington Downs, tentatively scheduled for July 2." The group is sitting together, side-by-side, at a dining table. All three of them are looking at a multiple-page/paper-clipped document, with expressions ranging from surprise to mild amusement. There is a spherical pitcher resting on the table, along with salt-and-pepper shakers, a plate of crackers, plates with pats of butter, several glasses of water, a couple of teacups with saucers, a dish of what appears to be fruit salad, and more. There are a couple of coat racks in the background, one has several hats hanging. Each one of the individuals is wearing a suit and tie.
