Blanche McVeigh with the specially constructed press necessary for execution of her largest commission to date: a copper plate etching depicting the gigantic Navy ordnance plant, North American Pump, at Minneapolis, Minnesota. Ms. McVeigh stands in the front of the press, holding a large piece of paper. She is wearing a dark-colored dress with a white collar and is also wearing white shoes. The press has a large flat surface. On one end is a very large wheel. It is made of iron. This photograph was published in the June 13, 1932 morning edition of the Star-Telegram.
