Description
Chief Boatswain's Mate C. L. Williams to take charge of the Fort Worth Navy recruiting center. Originally enlisted in 1917, his holds the Word War Victory Medal, a good conduct medal, the Nicaraguan Second Campaign medal and the Yangtze Campaign medal. He is sitting at a desk signing paperwork and is wearing his Navy uniform. This photograph was published in the June 8, 1942 evening edition of the Star-Telegram.
