Image shows Shippers Advisory Board convention attendees included, left to right, Joseph P. Gudger of Houston, Texas, M. L. Dickerson of Hodge, Louisiana, and Wallace Green of Dallas, Texas. Gudger was elected chairman of the board. He succeeded J.C. Murray of Little Rock, Arkansas, at an election session prior to John W. Barriger, from the Office of Defense Transportation, the principal speaker at the meeting. Dickerson was elected alternate chairman, and Green was elected general secretary. They are standing against a bare wall, all wearing suits. Mr. Dickerson is wearing eyeglasses. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition June 4, 1942.
