Katherine Morgan, pianist, and her sister, Josephine, flutist. "Katherine Morgan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Morgan, 2245 Fifth Avenue, will be presented in a piano recital at 4 p. m. Sunday by her teacher, Mrs. Orlin R. Morse, at her studio, 1204 Buck Street. Josephine Morgan, Flutist, will assist her sister. She is a pupil of Mrs. Jane Gilliam Tichnor. Katherine Morgan won first place in class in the Euterpean contest". Katherine Morgan is on the left side of the photo sitting behind a large dark piano that is facing to the left. She is wearing a sleeveless silky looking dress, has her hands on the piano keys, and is looking down at the piano with her feet near the piano pedals. She appears to be wearing a necklace, is sitting in a dark chair, and he has hair down and parted to he left. Standing behind her is her sister Josephine Morgan. She is also wearing a silky looking dress, but her dress has puffy sleeves. She is holding and looking down at the flute in her hands, and also has a necklace on and her hair down and parted to the left. Behind the girls are striped curtains on the left and polka dot curtains taking up the majority of the background. The entire room is carpeted.
