This copy of the Wise County Messenger appears to have several articles ranging from "Decatur Aviator Thrills People", Decatur Insurance Agency, "Baptist College Closes", Housing Installment Plans, Decatur Auto, White Swan Grape Juice, and the First State Bank. The articles is propped up with the left pages folded behind the right pages. The primary article is "Decatur Aviator Thrills People" and pictures the first plane Wise county had seen. "The first plane Wise County ever saw- maybe the first in West Texas. It's still crated and stored in Decatur. In the picture, left to right, are Selma Ingram (now of Sulphur, Oklahoma), Charles A. Foster (pilot and builder), J. Ingram (at the prop), Guy Ash Hoyl and the late Dr. John J. Ingram". Next to the propped up newspaper are papers tucked to the side. The newspaper appears to be propped up against a black structure.
