Description

Decatur. Plane building. "Aubrey Ingram, who preserves the relics of Decatur's pioneer plane-building venture, glances through files of the Wise County Messenger to refresh his memory". Mr. Ingram appears in the center right aspect of the photo sitting behind a desk with a newspaper opened in front of him. He's wearing a white button up shirt, a large striped tie, and a dark suit jacket with a light hat on. His left arm is leaning against the arm of the chair he is sitting in and his right hand is holding the right page of the newspaper he is reading intently. He appears to be looking at the right page of the newspaper with the title County Messenger visible at the top. The newspaper he is reading appears to be a part of a large book of newspapers and takes up the entire portion of the desk that he is sitting at. Behind appears to be stands for sorting papers and another desk.
